"The Sunday Stylist"
Lorina's Story
Lorina has been in the Beauty Industry since she was 16 years old and became a professional
makeup artist in San Francisco while producing her own line of Cosmetics. After many years
working behind the counter as a manager for Estee' Lauder, Lorina found herself following
in her father's many footsteps of becoming a hairstylist while maintaining a career in
Cosmetics as well as her continued studies in becoming an Educator. Her vast experience
catapulted her into the hair industry in the late 80's working as a distributor Rep. for
many lines of haircare such as: Tressa, Framesi, Schwarzkopf, Sorbie, Big Sexy, Nioxin,
Sebastian, Brocato, Artec and many more.
With the success of owning her own salon on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, Lorina
traveled to Italy where she continued to work and gain education in the study of hair.
After a 5 month stay, she came back to America to start a new life in the Central Valley
of California. She personally assisted the Founder and Creator of a haircare line from
all ends of the operation. Lorina was on the team to create, build, promote and educate
salons and stylists in all its territories as well as run and manage hairshows.
Lorina is an active and accomplished educator in the Beauty Industry and can be seen all
over California teaching salons and students on current techniques and color as well as
business building seminars.
Lorina has cornered the market as the Sunday Stylist and maintaining a solid clietelle
by being available on sundays when most salons are closed. Her continued efforts in
saving clients from fried, dyed hair and kitchen beauticians has spread throughout the
industry that a good deal of her clientelle are stylists themselves.
